Great Italian Reds Tour

The visit begins with the video Heritage always leaves a trace that introduces the tour and Tommasi Family Estates.
You will discover the history of the Tommasi family and the Valpolicella Classica area, with the explanation of the different soils of the most prestigious areas, and you can also look closely at the native Valpolicella grapes and the life-cycle of the vine.

The tour continues through the explanation of how Amarone is produced with a visit to the Appasismento - drying room of the grapes, to the aging cellars where you can admire Magnifica, the largest barrel in the world. You will also walk through the Ageing Gallery and visit the Historical Cellar with the Tommasi founder's barrels.

At the end, you will taste 6 representative wines from each winery Tommasi Family Estates:

Caseo - Pinot Nero
Poggio al Tufo - Rompicollo Toscana Igt
Casisano - Brunello di Montalcino

The visit lasts approximately one hour and a half. Tour can be done in group with other guests.
